Two major obstacles right now are preventing me from putting much art out. The first one is that I am currently having renovations done in my house, which means my usual workspace is currently coated in sawdust, cobwebs and strewn with disassembled furniture awaiting replacement. It may be several weeks before I get this fully sorted, so I'm limited to digital work only, mainly colouring. The other is that since April, I've been addicted to a game called League Of Legends, as evidenced by the last thing I drew. It's a free-to-play MOBA - Multiple Online Battle Arena, or so I believe the abbreviation foes - and although it has a pretty steep learning curve and quite a vicious community, it's fun once you find a character you're good with and start racking up kills and assists. There's even one item (Regeneration Bead) that looks suspiciously like a green ballgag... I wonder if that was put in there intentionally. While the game contains no actual DID, there's plenty of room for interpretation. Several characters use slow/root debuffs that entangle or bind the enemy somehow, one character even has the quote "Sorry, boys. I keep the fuzzy cuffs at home." As soon as my work space is cleared, I'll probably be able to elaborate on these little subtleties.
...and then I remembered that Pokemon Black/White 2 is due out on October 12th for us Euro-peons, whereas it's out on the 7th for everyone across the pond.
Weapons of mass distraction.
